Science fiction fan and occasional author who lived most of his life with his wife Joni Stopa on a farm in Wilmot, Wisconsin, USA; by profession he ran the skiing resort on Wilmot Mountain, and found an improvement in air/water mixing on snow guns, making them more efficient.
