Edward S. Sullivan
US journalist and editor active in the 1930s-1980s. Early on he specialized in crime reporting and "true crime" stories; in the 1970s-1980s he edited men's magazines like "Pix" and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Film_World">Adam Film World</a>. Although Ray Lovell's <a href="https://www.sfsite.com/fsf/bibliography/fsfstorieswhos13.htm">bibliography of ''The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction''</a> states that the 1952 story "The 8:29" was ghostwritten by Walter B. Gibson, there is no mention of it in J. Randolph Cox's extensive ''Man of Magic and Mystery: A Guide to the Work of Walter B. Gibson''.
