A native of Canada, Alison McBain grew up in California and now lives in Fairfield, Connecticut. Her short fiction and poetry have appeared in Flash Fiction Online, Abyss & Apex, Gone Lawn, and Bards and Sages Quarterly, among others. She is the author of the YA fantasy novel The Rose Queen (2018).
