Martin Hill Ortiz (whose surname is Hill Ortiz, in the Latino fashion) is a professor of Pharmacology at the Ponce Health Sciences University in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He is an award-winning poet and the author of several suspense novels, as well as numerous short stories, some of them science fiction and some them westerns or thrillers.
