Sîn-lēqi-unninni was a mašmaššu who lived in Mesopotamia between the period of 1300 BC and 1000 BC. He's best known as the "author" from the best preserved version of the Epic of Gilgamesh, "Sha naqba īmuru". The name means: (The moon god) Sin is the one who accepts the prayer.
