He founded China's first science fiction fanzine Nebula in 1988 and joined Science Fiction World in 1998. He discovered many new writers, initiating the 'Science Fiction Vision Project' which launched the internationally bestselling 'Three-Body' series. He has also won the Chinese Science Fiction Nebula Award for Best Editor."
