"From Faust to Strangelove: representations of the scientist in western literature", by Roslynn D. Haynes, Johns Hopkins University Press, 1994, on p. 354, appears to be referring to this book, which she calls "A Trip to Mars" (by Street & Smith, 1901). As such, the title listed here (from Bleiler) may be in error.
