The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath

1500 numbered copies, according to Currey (Tuck states 1490), 50 of which were clothbound, according to Tuck (price unknown), but Currey states there were more than 50 copies, despite the limitation statement. The remaining copies were stapled sheets in printed wrappers, reinforced with other cloth or paper tape. Several variants of this exist, many of which were bound after the original publication date. In 1972, Gerry de la Ree bound 12 sets of sheets in black cloth with the statement: "#___of 12 specially bound copies of THE DREAM-QUEST OF UNKNOWN KADATH First Edition/First Printing November 1955". According to Currey, the text of this edition is offset from that of the serial publication in The Arkham Sampler, Winter-Autumn 1948. Cover artist per Chalker/Owings.
