There is no "The" at the beginning of the title on the title page as there is on the front and back covers. "Cover & Frontispiece art © 2010 Cynthia Sheppard", "Interior artwork pages 4 & 7 © 1984 Roy G. Krenkel" on copyright page of Archive.org copy. Per the author's dedication Krenkel's essay was written "more than twenty years ago" when the book was almost ready to be published but he got cancer and passed away in 1983. The copy uploaded to Archive.org in 2023 (added in 2024) has a completely unrelated Spanish-language novel by Luis de Lion, El tiempo principia en Xibalbá, after the end of this novel.
