Divided into three parts:
• Part I: 1958-64 (the years with the author, takes roughly 80 pages)
• Part II: 1964-82 (roughly 100 pages)
• Part III: 1928-58 (roughly 50 pages)

  • It is not clear on which page 'The Search for Philip K. Dick' starts; it depends if the Prologue is accounted as part of it or not (if not, these memories start on p. 21.).
  • First printing as per number line.
  • Editor: Jill Roberts (series editor: Jacob Weisman).
  • There are iv pages of photo plates inserted after p. 142; each page shows two photos by Anne R. Dick taken in the years 1959, 1960, 1961 & 1963.
