Interior art consists of four full-page sketches that serve as frontispieces to the four "Cantos" that make up the story. While not signed or formally credited, Storm writes in the acknowledgements: "Thanks to ... Sal Bryant for her assistance with the 'Shadow' illustrations." That wording might mean that Sal helped with the book by doing the illustrations, or that Sal helped Storm do the illustrations. We assume the former, but we are not certain of that.
