- Illustrated limitation page follows the front loose endpaper bearing the statement: "This edition of The Mermaids is limited to 300 numbered hardcover copies signed by Robert Edric and Nicholas Royle, and 500 numbered paperback copies signed by Robert Edric." (over) "The is copy" followed by a horizontal oval in which the copy number has been handwritten. Above the statement, in the center of the page, are the signatures of the author and the introducer. At the top of the page is a b&w detail from the cover art.
- The limitation page statement is incorrect concerning the trade edition which was 500 signed jacketless hardcover copies. According to Locus1, the trade edition is "paper-over-boards" and not paperback. Further evidence that the trade edition is hardcover are the copyright page statement and one on the last page facing the back loose endpaper which states "This signed, limited edition of 300 deluxe hardcovers and 500 trade hardcovers was designed and typeset by Luis Rodrigues...".
- "Published in April 2007 by PS Publishing Ltd" and "FIRST EDITION" stated on the copyright page.
- "Cover artwork is The Rhine Maidens by Arthur Rackham." and "Book design by Luis Rodrigues." stated on the copyright page.
