1991 publication must be doubted. Amazon UK is the source for UK publ date 1991-11-14. British Library reports "Gollancz, 1991" from prepublication data. US title leaf states "First printing: February 1992" and may show that the LC call number as 1991 is based on prepublication data (LC Cataloging-in-Publication data, PS3553.O42433 M29 1991). Kirkus Reviews covered the US ed. in its December 1991 issue and reports US publ date 1992-02-03 (as posted online 2010, above).

Publications as Book Lust Rediscoveries contain Introduction, Discussion Questions (5), and Suggestions for Further Reading by editor Nancy Pearl. · Questions 3, 4, and 5 were contributed by author Jon Cohen. · Question 1 concerns multiple versions of the last page. The UK text continues with an exclamation and one full paragraph beyond the end of the US text. The 2013 edition differs at least by cutting the final two words from the UK text ("fall" replaces "fall to earth").
