Of the stories with no credited author: -The Half-Chick credited only to the 'Spanish Tradition'. -Caliph Stork is by Wilhelm Hauff -Narcissus & Potentilla, Featherhead & Celandine and Vivien & Placida are by the Comte de Caylus -The Enchanted Snake(Italian), King Kojata(Russian), Prince Fickle and Fair Helena & Puddocky(both German) are from Hermann Kletke's collection Marchensaal. -Hok Lee and the Dwarfs credited as from the Chinese. The Enchanted Watch is erroneously credited to Deulin. It is a Bohemian tale from Louis Leger's collection Contes populaires slaves. The War of the Wolf & the Fox, The 3 Musicians and The 3 Dogs are erroneously credited to the Brothers Grimm. All 3 are German tales from Kletke's collection Marchensaal.
