This is a fix-up of the following short fiction titles:

• Light of Other Days (1966) -- appears as "Sidelight One: Light of Other Days" in the book
• Burden of Proof (1967) -- appears as "Sidelight Two: Burden of Proof"
• A Dome of Many-Colored Glass (1972) -- appears as "Sidelight Three: A Dome of Many-Colored Glass"
• Other Days, Other Eyes (novella version, 1972)

This fix-up is not to be confused with the novella version of ''Other Days, Other Eyes'' (see immediately above), which was incorporated into this fix-up novel. Note that the text of the incorporated novella is broken up into 4 parts. The three "Sidelights" appear between the 4 parts. It's currently unknown whether the fix-up version made changes to the 4 incorporated stories.
