- ... because the only date on the copyright page is 1968: "First published in 1968" and "© 1968"; however, it is likely to be later because
(a) it has an ISBN (so not earlier than 1970),
(b) it has a higher price than the first edition/printing.
The price is less than the 1975 pb reprint, so likely to be earlier than 1975. - The copyright page also gives an ISBN for a hardbound version : 0 207 12804 9
- The source of the Broderick story is given as A Man Returned (Horwitz, 1965); however, from other sources (e.g. The MUP Encyc. ... [Ed.: Paul Collins]), it was a reprint in that collection. (Hence the May 1964 dating.)
