• The printing date is stated on the title page 1981. The copyright page contains the complete number line: "v 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1".
• Month of publication from Locus #243 (April 1981).
• The last numbered page is 415 and after this are two unnumbered pages containing a song and two more pages with a map for a total of 419 pages. Note that the table of contents includes both the song and map and lists them with page numbers.
• The map on page 418 is not credited nor is a signature visible. The same map is credited to Richard Sanderson in volume iv of the series, thus credited here.
