• This book and Islands Mysterious #1, evidently in its 2nd printing, were on the publisher's first list, for Fall 2004. See the publisher record. Price $15.95 is that of the other in its 1st printing, from one March 2004 newspaper article
• Amazon provides "Look inside" that contains title page, undated, and copyright page that states: -- 2004 copyrights -- First Edition -- "Cartography by David D..." (illegible) The selection shows no interior illustration but the black-and-white drawings of one bat in flight, on the title page. The back cover shows price $15.95 and no cover art credit.
