A private letter from her in June 1892 refers to a 3rd edition of the book, so there were at least that many printings.
- A frontispiece, immediately after the title page, is a photograph of the author, signed "Faithfully Yours, Florence Dixie". The signature has a few small flourishes not used in her "casual" signature, but it is very close.
- On p. v, before the preface, is a dedication:
"To All Women and such Honourable, Upright and Courageous Men ... I dedicate the following pages, with the hope that [it will lead to] giving to Women equal rights with Men ..."
- The book concludes with a 2-page publisher's ad promoting the author's two other books, and one book by another author.
- Price taken from an ad like the one just mentioned, from "Aniwee", another book by the author published the same year.
