Hieroglyphic Tales

The story 'The Bird's Nest' was added to this collection in the 1982 edition. SFE (in biographical entry by Mike Ashley) describes the 1982 as "rev[ised] with addition of a previously uncollected story" and edited by Kenneth W. Gross. The British Library calls it a facsimile of the 1785 (ix+50 pages implied) with introduction by Kenneth W. Gross, {{BL|004078887}}.

"... The text here followed is that of the first edition. Some notes, written by Horace Walpole in his copy of the first-sheets of the first edition, now in the British museum, have been added."
