The stories here were written by Dorothy Macardle while she was held a political prisoner in Dublin's Kilmainham Gaol and Mountjoy Prison. December 20, 2024 Kilmainham Gaol Museum post on Facebook says this collection "appeared in shops 100 years ago this year just in time for the Christmas market".
