20 stories
(in 1919 published with 24 illustrations by Harry Clarke);
identical in title and sequence to the first 20 in that 29-story collection published with 32 illustrations by Clarke
- Limited edition of 170 copies (from 2nd WorldCat record, confirmed by Christie's Auction House).
- Data from PBA Galleries, Christie's Auction House, and WorldCat. Contents from WorldCat.
- PBA Galleries and the 2nd WorldCat record say there are 24 b/w plates; the 1st WorldCat record says 23. Christie's Auction House clarifies that this is a frontispiece + 23 plates.
- The 1933 edition (with the same artist) includes 24 b/w plates plus a color frontispiece and 7 color plates. The presumption is that they were the same b/w plates, but new color plates were added to that edition. The 1933 edition also includes 9 stories not in this edition, hence it may be that the color plates are for those stories.
