See also the prize-winning picture book anthology Sleeping Beauty & Other Favourite Fairy Tales (1982), whose text is 12 stories translated from the French by Carter – the same ten stories by Perrault plus two by Leprince de Beaumont.
ISFDB presumes the ten Perrault/Carter stories to be identical in the 1977 collection and the 1982 anthology.

The image is readable, clearly fits the Gollancz hardcover, and similarity of the illustration with one in the review by Naomi Lewis shows that it must be from (coloured in part) one of the etchings by Ware.
