Weird Tales

Electronic copy of 67 scanned copies of the magazine Weird Tales distributed on two DVDs. The first DVD contains issues that originally appeared between 1928 through 1946 and also contains viewing software. The second DVD contains issues from 1947 through 1954 and also contains a file with cover scans of all issues from 1928 through 1954. The scan of the July 1948 issue is missing page 48. The individual files are in a comic archive (.cbz) format. No overall editor is listed for this selection of issues. Despite the note on the cover, not all the issues are complete. The files for the September 1944 and September 1945 issues both contain the Canadian issue for September 1945 (neither is labeled as such), but with the July 1945 US cover (which that Canadian issue reprints). The January 1946 issue is the Canadian issue for that date (not labeled as such), but with the November 1945 US cover (which that Canadian issue reprints). The September 1934 issue is missing pages 397-400 The Canadian issue for May 1947 is also included, but with the March 1947 US cover (which that Canadian issue reprints). The February 1951 UK issue is also included. However it has the US cover and is labeled as the July 1950 issue (which the UK issue reprints). The cover gallery does not contain the cover for the March 1932 issue. Several covers in the cover gallery are followed by the original painting of the cover. In these cases they have been listed here with the title of the story that they illustrate. No title is presented for these items in this publication.
