The artists signature: "R.T." was taken from left front, above the "By Vargo Statten" line on the cover.
The cover paper was more like an artist specialty paper than the usual paperback or magazine cover stock.
The publication is stapled, it contains two staples with the cover page glued to the pack. The binding is not similar to a standard paperback. This is an earlier form of binding derived from pre-WWII digest-style magazine bindings, originally modeled on the format used for Reader's Digest.
