• "Illustrations" p[ix] lists 12 full-page including frontispiece, of which several have discernible signatures "J Ormsbee 22".
• "To Be Read First" p[xi]-xiii seems to be a synopsis of The Enchanted Forest (1920) to which this book is sequel.
• There are three unnumbered pages between page xiii and page 1, one of which includes a list of "audience" characters (would be page xv).
