Jointly credited on the 1844 title page, the translator of each story is identified by initials J.O. or C.A.F. in the Contents list, commonly in a headnote, and commonly at the end of the chapter.
ISFDB lists 12 stories as known speculative fiction, 7 as J.O. and 5 as C.A.F. (March 2020).
