Note that this version of "The Book of Fu-Manchu" (Robert M. McBride & Company, New York, 1929) collects the first 3 Fu-Manchu novels plus another novel, "The Golden Scorpion". Although "The Golden Scorpion" is book 2 in the "Gaston Max" series, it is also connected to the Fu-Manchu series. Note that the 1930 UK omnibus also titled "The Book of Fu-Manchu" and published by Hurst & Blackett, does not include "The Golden Scorpion". It also uses different titles for books 1-3 in the Fu-Manchu series.
