• Illustrated limitation page appearing on the last page before the back loose endpaper bears the statement "The edition is limited to 300 signed and numbered copies. This is copy number" below which the number of the copy is printed (not handwritten) in a much larger font. This is followed by the signatures of Richard Lupoff (the introducer), John Pelan (the editor and author of the afterword), and Jacob McMurray (the cover artist/designer).
• "February 2017" stated on the copyright page.
• The price is not stated in the book. Copies from the publisher came shrink-wrapped with a sticker on the back printing the barcoded ISBN and the price of $100.00. There was also a sticker printing the number of the copy.
• "The Collected Short Fiction" (over) "Volume 4" (over) "Introduction by Richard Lupoff" (over) "Edited, with an afterword, by John Pelan" on the title page.
• "Cover artwork and design © 2017 by Jacob McMurray" stated on the copyright page.
• A full-page B&W photograph of the author appears on page [6] facing the introduction's title page. There is a half-page B&W photograph of the author on page 8.
• The double-spread title page, the contents page, the introduction, and the afterword are printed on differently colored pages.
• There is a place-keeping ribbon (yellow satin) bound into the book. The book is fully clothbound.
• Statement from the publisher's February 2017 newsletter: "The three hundred signed copies are reserved for those that are purchasing the entire set. If you order and have received unsigned copies of the previous volumes, you will also received an unsigned copy of The Man with the Speckled Eyes. Signed or unsigned, they are the same price."
