The Table of Contents lists They'd Rather Be Right in this collection as consisting of Parts 1–3, stating at the beginning of Part 1 "Also published as The Forever Machine" and crediting Frank Riley as the co-author. However, Part 1 (titled "Part I: Crazy Joey") consists of two short stories written by Mark Clifton and Alex Apostolides (the latter not credited here): "Crazy Joey" and "Hide! Hide! Witch!". Parts 2-3 in the collection contain the version of They'd Rather Be Right by Mark Clifton and Frank Riley that won the Hugo award (with Part 2 bearing the title "Bossy" here).
