• While it's a subjective call, the cover designers have been credited as they blended the stock images to the point that none of them are individual recognizable.
• The front cover has two elements that are not apparent. 1) There's an clear Mylar outer cover much like what's found on library books that's imprinted with a bear's open mouth with fangs about to bite. It's only visible when you tilt the book so that a light reflects off the front cover back to you. 2) Under the jacket, the front of the book is embossed with a stylized "Borne" in gold foil. A picture of this has been uploaded to BRNCZNMQXH2017_2.jpg.
• The title page is split over two pages. The right hand side, which normally is the title page, has an uncredited photograph of a bear.
• LCCN # 2016033244 is on the copyright page.
