The Blind Spot

Originally published in 1921 as a 6-part serial in Argosy-All Story Weekly (14 May). Incompletely run (3 parts) in Famous Fantastic Mysteries (Mar 1940).

Stated "First Edition". Chalker/Owings state that 1500 copies were printed, but that less than 800 were bound. The remaining sheets were lost when Prime Press went under. Both Tuck and Chalker/Owings give the price as $3.00. The verified copy has a $3.50 price on the jacket. The back jacket advertises the forthcoming sequel The Spot of Life (never published by Prime), for $3.00 which may be the source of the error. The prologue to the novel begins on page x, Chapter I begins on page 1. The titles for the interior art are take from the List of Illustrations. The plates are not captioned and are listed with the page they face.
