This is distinct from the 1869 collection of the same name in which the title poem was first published.
Contents differ greatly.
Despite the title of its publication in a 2012 omnibus, this is distinct from the 1883 collection Rhyme? and Reason?, in which the illustrations by Frost were first published. Rhyme? and Reason? (1883) contains "The Hunting of the Snark" (not illus. by Frost) and this collection does not.
- 1st ed. this title and contents 16 cm Miniature Edition
- Publ date (inferred) and price from "Macmillan & Co.'s List" Manchester Guardian 1911-09-26 p5; this one "Miniature Edition. Pott 8vo. 1s. net."
- Sometimes catalogued as a reprint, presumably because t.p. verso states "First published in 1869." (true of the title poem, in a different Macmillan collection of the same name).
- This is the source for Project Gutenberg Ebook #651, which begins with a reconstruction of the misleading title leaf.
- Contents listed below are those known to be speculative fiction in nature.
