• Despite the "mosaic novel" designation, each author's contribution is distinctive and individually credited within the book itself. There is no table of contents.
• The "Prologue" and "Interlude"s are not credited, but assumed to be authored by the editor.
• "The Science of the Wild Card Virus: Excerpts from the Literature" is not credited on its title page, but is assigned to Victor Milán on the copyright page.
