The Author-Title section of the Index is intended to be a compilation of every Science Fiction and Heroic Fantasy title published in America since 1945 (-1977). It covers every novel and collection initially published or reprinted during this period in hardcover or paperback. Many earlier titles are included so that complete information is given for most authors. Anthologies are beyound the scope of this work as are pulp or magazine appearances of the various titles. Weird and Horror stories are also omitted.
