Information from a review in All Hallows #8, February 1995 and Amazon.com. Shadow was a fanzine that ended in 1974. This publication commemorated the 20th anniversary of the end of the fanzine, and contains six long essays (Shadow only published essays), updated by the authors. One 10,00 word essay by Mike Ashley is on the psychic-detective sub-genre, another on William Morris, another on Virgil Finlay, a fourth on C. L. Moore. Ramsey Campbell wrote another on H. P.
