•Contains three comic stories, reprinted in black and white instead of the original color. This section, including the short-short prose piece, is reprinted from Avon's science fiction comic book Strange Worlds #1, November 1950.
•The comic insert is now available electronically in color.
•The Corsairs from the Coalsack is listed as having artwork by Joe Kubert (listed here as J. Kubert), but seems to have some Steve Ditko inks.
•The Spider God of Akka starring Crom, is considered to be the first Conanesque comic story.
•The comic section is unpaginated, but is still counted in the page count, page numbers listed are hand-counted.
•The story illustrations are uncredited, although the comic stories are, but Giunta has signed his, Lidham and Maral's illustrations look like they have been signed by a second party. Martin is a guesstimate based on the signature scribble, possibly Mark Marchioni?.
•Cover is signed, but signature is illegible and it is uncredited.
•Letter column essay is signed D. A. W.
•Alchemy is printed as by John & Dorothy de Courcy.
