- According to Laughlin & Levack, De Camp, Underwood-Miller, 1983 there were 5000 copies, 500 of which were numbered and signed. Most of the trade edition were bound in green cloth, an unknown number were bound in blue paper boards. In addition, 3 copies were leather bound, one for the publisher and one for each author.
- According to The Science-Fantasy Publishers by Chalker & Owings (3rd Edition, 1991, page 160) there were 2,905 copies in green cloth (500 of them signed and numbered on a tipped-in page) and 94 copies in blue boards (Greenberg variants). They make no mention of the 3 leather-bound copies.
