First printing of 1000 copies bound in light blue cloth. "First Edition" so stated on copyright page. [Currey] Copyrights 1940, 1942, 1943 by Street & Smith, and 1948 by the authors. Verification copy signed and dated by the authors "Feb. 13, 1948", hence they at least had copies in February. This copy also had an announcement postcard for the book as "now available", and that card is postmarked April, 1948. So we take that as the release date. Dust jacket of the third verified copy is the same as that shown for the second printing. Number of copies and bindings of editions from "Daddy!" by Jack L.
