Copyright, February, 1981, by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Cover by Walter Breen. THENDARA HOUSE, Berkeley, California. The book contains long essays by Marion Zimmer Bradley about food, recipes and memories, interspersed by a few interesting or weird recipes. The author writes: "The recipes printed in this collection are the disjecta membra of a twenty-year-or-more obsession with cookbooks: reading them, collecting them, hoarding the and re-reading them over and over. --- However, the recipes in this collection are those which managed to convince me, in advance, that would never cook them. Like the White Knight's famous pudding, I don't think they were ever meant to be cooked."
