This is the 21st volume in the unnumbered Queen's Treasures reprint series, and the first published after a wartime hiatus, almost certainly either Spring 1920 or for the 1919 Christmas gift season, evidently undated.

Library records for this collection and publication series (found only at WorldCat, OCLC below) differ on several points: • hyphenated title (but un-hyphenated on title page) • full name author (but 'J. H. Ewing' on title page) • roman-numbered pages, vii or ix • year inferred/estimated, 19--s or [1919?] or [1920]

Ewing is credited by full name in the Queen's Treasures 1910 edition of The Brownies and Other Tales, and its 1920 reprint, although she is "Mrs. Ewing" in publisher lists of the series (e.g., the half-title leaf of both those books). The Brownies title page is dated in both books.
