• "3006" printed at the bottom of the back flap of the dustjacket.
• First printing has gutter code "G35" [verified] on page 311; indicates a printing in August 1976.
• Reprinted with gutter code "M33" [verified], printed in August, 1982
• Reprint is different in two other ways besides the gutter code: SFBC #3006 is on the outside back cover; boards are now purple with dark blue 1/4 bound spine with darker blue lettering [first printing is all black boards with silver lettering]
