• For the publication year, Currey uses the 1971 1st printing date, but all other reference sources (OCLC, LCCN, Contento1, Clute/Nicholls) use the 1972 copyright date.
• "$5.95" price on front flap of jacket, and "Jacket design by ONI" on back flap. Jacket artist signature "oni" on front.
• Notwithstanding the accurate code noted by Currey, which appears to date the printing, the Charles Scribner's Sons review copy slip inlaid states "We take pleasure in sending you this review copy of STRANGE DOINGS by R. A. LAFFERTY Pub. Date: March 20, 1972 Price: $5.95" [added 2020-06-09].
