The 2021 edition is a revised and extended version but it is not clear how different it is from the original.
- Many sites will list this title as just "The Dreamlords" as
- The front cover has "The Dreamlords" in bold yellow at the top of the page and "#1 A Plague of Nightmares" at the bottom of the page in smaller print and also the same pink color as other background text.
- The spine has "The Dreamlords" in bold black followed by "#1 A Plague of Nightmares" in a lighter weight pink font.
- The title page has "The Dreamlords" / "number one" / "A Plague of Nightmares" / by Adrian Cole.
It's pretty clear though that "The Dreamlords" is the name of the series and that this would be #1 in the series and is titled "A Plague of Nightmares".
- First printing that states "First Printing: February, 1975".
- The catalog # 111 is on the front cover and the ISBN 0-89083-111-4 is on the spine. There is no bar code. Note that as if July-2008 Amazon does not have a record for this ISBN.
- The cover artist is not credited nor is a signature visible.
