Almost every other page is either a full-page color illustration or a double-page spread. None of the artwork is individually credited. All is credited to "Young Artists" on the copyright page.
Each of the ten sections of the book has artwork by one artist. Most of the artists can be deduced from external sources, such as Tony Roberts' site, several Fleuve Noir Anticipations covers (Les Edwards, Stuart Hughes, Richard Clifton-Dey), a Bastei Lübbe cover (Alan Craddock) and comicsvalue.com (Terry Oakes).
