- Interplanetary Hunter is based upon published material originally copyrighted by Standard Magazines Inc. 1937, 1938, 1940, 1941 and 1946.
- Each chapter is preceded by a page of written description of creatures with the facing page having drawings of those creatures. None are credited.
- ih $3.00. On top right front inner flap dust jacket.
- "Jacket design Ed Emshwiller and W. I. Van Der Poel" from bottom front inner flap dust jacket. The cover is a montage of the illustrations, some colored for the dust jacket.
- Tuck notes "*collaborations with H. Kutner, bringing in Tony Quade". This notation is used on The Seven Sleepers whose title is changed to Almussen's Comet chapter 4 of this book.
