"The section entitled 'Storms' was originally published in slightly different form in Analog in May 1975 under the title The Storms of Windhaven [...]";
"The section entitled 'One-Wing' was originally published in slightly different from in Analog in January and February 1980 [...]".

• First printing per number line (10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1). Month from code 0481 on the rear dust jacket flap.
• Jacket artist credited on rear dust jacket flap.
• No visible signature on cover. The same artwork is used on the 1st US pb and is signed on the bottom edge. However, it has been cropped on the cover of this hc edition
• Map artist credited on copyright page
• The essay on page [349] is erroneously titled "About the Author" even though it is about both authors
