Re the Aurealis Children's Long Fiction Awards:
The Broken Land and the next in the series - The Dust Devils were considered together.

- The cover scan doesn't appear to have the correct colour for the blurb & the author's name - to my eye on my computer. The text on the physical appears to be a light orange, not light purple. The cover to be seen on publisher's website seems a little closer to the colour.
