- Reprint of the 1973 Arkon edition. The differences are:
- The title has changed from "The Second Pacific Book of Australian SF" to "Australian Science Fiction 2",
- the cover has a different design, but based on the same image,
- the back cover is a bit different,
- copyright page has a different layout
- the Acknowledgments and Contents pages are swapped.
- Note that the ISBN, price and the text/pagination are the same.
- The stories/poems by Loran, Kline, Johnston, Stewart, Baxter, Roberts & Harding are reprints. The book does not give the dates of original publication, although the publications are given. The Loran, Baxter & Harding can be dated reliably; however (as at May 2008), the others are unknown. (The original publications were generally not in the "SF" sphere.)
