Every story is preceded by a title leaf whose verso, facing the beginning of the story, usually notes the source, copyright, and permission. The three exceptions are the two earliest stories (1838 and 1859, in the public domain?) and the last one, whose title-verso note is simply (p408): "Translated for this volume by M. Charles Sommer."
